Located just north of the airport, Surfside Beach is a laid-back spot that’s perfect for relaxing, swimming, and even watching planes land right overhead. It’s a favorite with both locals and visitors thanks to its convenient location and fun atmosphere.

 

You’ll find two beach bars/clubs here—Surfside Beach Bar and Reflexions Beach Club.  Both rent loungers and umbrellas, serve food and drinks, and have bathrooms on site.  Reflexions also has a pool and live DJs on select days, with Sundays being especially popular for locals.

 

The water is calm but does have some seagrass in places, with clear paths leading out for swimming.  If you prefer fewer sea grass, head closer to the dock area where it’s usually clearer or closer to Reflexions.

 

Parking is easy and free, making Surfside beach an accessible and enjoyable beach day option for anyone looking to combine good vibes, convenience, and great views.
