Rodgers Beach

Located on the almost the southern tip of Aruba, lies Rodgers beach. Just north of Baby Beach!
FUN FACT:
Rodger's Beach was named afterthe British Captain Rodger, who opened Aruba's first oilrefinery in San Nicolas, Aruba
Lago Refinery in 1928.
With Captain Rodger at its helm, the refinery brought
prosperity to Aruba. The refinery can be seen from Rodger's Beach and Baby
Beach.
Protected by the calm waters of the bay, Rodger’s Beach is a narrow powdery white strip next to famous Baby Beach, yet has a more authentic feel to it as fishermen anchor their colorful boats here.
PRO TIP:
Find the grey steps and see the cool murals!
More secluded than other beaches, this is a great spot if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of other beaches.
Lots of locals come here!
Rum Reef is located next door, between Rodger's beach and overlooks Baby beach, so that is your closest bathroom. They have food, alcohol and an infinity pool! Infinity pool area is 18+.
Some palapas available here for shade
Easy, free parking. You do need a car to get here, take a Taxi or the Arubus. It will be about $80-$100 round trip from Palm Beach area. It's cheaper to rent a car for the day from a local company!
JADS Dive Shop is also on site, next to Rum Reef, and you can rent Snorkel equipment here.
I also love to stop at Gallo Rojo for some delicious breakfast donuts or Grote Berg Snack for awesome Johnny Cakes! Don't forget to also check out the beautiful Murals of San Nicolas! Be sure to check out my other suggestions for Eating & Drinking in San Nicolas!
