Arashi Beach

Arashi Beach is located in the northern part of the Island, in Malmok, about 1 mile /1.6 km south of the California lighthouse.

Pro Tip:

Arrive before early, before 9am to score a palapa!

 

Bathrooms on site, sometimes they will charge you $1-2 to use, just depends.

 

Beach bar called Arashi Beach Shack on-site with food and alcohol!

Bring water shoes, can be rocky entrance in some areas

Careful of the current as you go further out and to the north

Free, easy parking.  Parking lot on site, if full, park along the road in the dirt

Pro Tip:

Go up the theCalifornia Lighthouse, about 1 mile/1.6km north and check out
the gorgeous views!  You can even climb to the top of the Lighthouse for $5. 

 

The blue school bus has delicious smoothies and snacks and there's coconut drinks there too!  Say hello to the colorful parrot!
